Per PIPEDA, we collect and maintain only the information required for you to participate in our classes, and for us to communicate with you about your participation.
We never collect client information online. New clients provide any personal information the first time they visit the studio.
We do not accept sales online or via our mobile application.
Electronic payments are ONLY accepted by e-transfer or Square (a secure payment processor), which means we never request or store any client banking or credit card information.

Client information is used to communicate about transactional interactions with our business:
Purchases: Providing you with an email receipt for services or products purchased.
Registration:
Each time you sign up or register for a class, a confirmation email is sent out
24 hours prior to your class, a reminder email is sent to your email
2 hours prior to your class, a reminder text is sent to your mobile number
Yearly birthday wishes are sent to clients' emails
We do not share any information collected with outside parties. We use return email addresses to answer the emails we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
Mobile numbers are used for a text message reminder that is distributed two hours before your class or private session reservation.
Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) requires businesses in Ontario to keep all financial records and supporting documents for six years from the end of the last tax year they relate to. Any data maintained and stored is done so to comply with CRA requirements.
In the event you would like your data deleted, after receiving your request in writing, Millenia Pilates will do so outside of the six year CRA requirement.
Any/all client data is stored in an offsite facility through a secure database provider.
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
